Chainflip
Chainflip is a decentralised protocol for native cross-chain swaps between Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, Arbitrum and Tron, without wrapped tokens or bridges. I worked on it as a freelancer in 2021 and 2022.
I built the InfoBot, which posts notable swaps and network activity to X as @ChainflipBot. On the operations side, I wrote Ansible playbooks for the infrastructure and helped set up the AWS environment.
Running Chainflip nodes outside that work led to chainflip-docker, an open-source setup for running Chainflip in Docker, and later to my own products on the protocol: Swappy and Broker as a Service. In 2024 my Stablecoin Liquidity Provisioning Bot won first place in the Chainflip General Track of Chainflip’s Cross-Chain Summer Hackathon, where I also gave the opening workshop.
Technologies: Ansible, AWS, Docker, Linux, bot development, blockchain node operations.
