Swappy
Swappy is a bot that lets people swap crypto straight from Discord or Telegram. It started as a Discord bot and later gained Telegram support. You start a conversation with /swap, pick what to send and what to receive, and Swappy gets a quote and a deposit address from Chainflip.
Two design choices shaped it. It is wallet-less: users never connect a wallet to the bot, they send funds to the deposit address Chainflip hands out. It is also non-custodial: the funds go from the user’s wallet through the Chainflip protocol and back out, and Swappy never holds them.
It supports swaps between any two of Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH, FLIP, USDC, USDT, WBTC), Arbitrum, Solana, Polkadot Asset Hub and Tron assets. Chainflip’s March 2024 development update named Swappy among the first integrations adding volume to the protocol.
Technologies: Discord and Telegram bot APIs, Chainflip SDK and broker API, cross-chain swaps.
